SpaceBiz Software Platform - Open Source Powered Software

We are strong believers in Open Source and fully support the cross platform idea. At present we are based on the following technologies: MySQL, Perl/TK, Mod_Perl, Apache, XML, DBI, POE, HTML, JavaScript.

The system successfully runs on Windows 98/2000/XP and all versions of Linux > v2.4
With minimal hardware requirements: Pentium III CPU, 128 MB of RAM, 300 MB of HDD space.

Evolution - The Future of Intranet and SpaceBiz POS

Because we are using open source tools we are involved in a non-stop technology upgrade, coming on a daily bases from world sources as CPAN, Apache.org, MySQL.com, Perl.org

Apart of the platform development we are adding new functions and reports very often as the core of both - theIntranet and SpaceBiz is Plug-in based, which allows us to fully support and upgrade all our installations via Internet using live-update software also part of the system.

Is this stable ?

SpaceBiz is super stable. The back of house system has self repair function which takes care of all known problems. The Head Office module also looks after a centralized backup for all stores on a daily bases, which makes data loss impossible. The system has online discussion boards which works well making all known questions answered for everybody online.
